God Send Chapter 9

Just before victory had taken place with Satan’s henchmen, a light, a holy light pierced through one of the evil spirits! It shrieked and diminished in a second. “No this is impossible?” they all panicked as a figure descended from above and landed in front of the child’s lifeless body. With Him, He carried a blade and slashed one with light piercing through it and disappearing after.

“Nothing is impossible with my Father!” His majestic voice had them shaking in fear.

“My Lord…what brings you here?” they stammered.

“I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes he sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.” He slashed the demon in front of Him. “Did I not deal with all of you before?”

“The boss won’t be too happy when he hears about this.”

“Enough! In the name of my Father you will leave her alone!” the place shook in His glory.

“But she doubted you. The kid lost her mind and…”

“For the Son of Man came to seek and save what was lost.” He gave the blow to the rest until they dissolved never to bother her again.

Jesus knelt down and whispered to the girl. “Rise Tiana.” And the girl woke up shocked to see that her surroundings engulfed with light and the monsters gone.

“You…you…” tears filled her eyes.

“You called me and it was because of your faith that you were saved.” The man offered her His warm hand to pull her up to her feet but she fell on her knees in fear before the Son of God, all clothed in white and splendor expanding to her reach.

“Forgive me for I have sinned!” she began sobbing at his feet.

“In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over the sinner who repents.” He lifted her chin to His.

The girl was left speechless and she felt fire igniting in her heart because of His company. “You really are the Son of God!” she answered Him with an embrace and began praising the Lord Almighty.

“Tiana, do you know what your Hebrew name Hosanna means?” he asked with a warm smile.

“No, my Lord.”

“It means ‘deliver us’.”

“But it does not suit me.”

“It does now.” He set the blade on her hands.”

“I-I-I-I cannot accept t-t-his.” She was overwhelmed.

“You have passed the test and most importantly won the battle. Victory will always be my Father’s because the battle is His.” He patted her head with his warm palms.

Hosanna was speechless. She wanted to say thank you but Jesus knew what she felt in her heart. The man in white looked at her once last time and then slowly lifted Himself from the ground and ascended back to heaven.

“For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believe in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise that person up at the last day.” He bade His farewell. “We will meet again soon.”
